John Burris Documentary Screening

You are invited to join California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., and the California Legislative Black Caucus for an exclusive screening and discussion of the John Burris Documentary film. 

This 90-minute film explores the extraordinary career of Civil Rights Attorney John Burris, who has spent over four decades challenging police misconduct and fighting for justice. His landmark work includes the Rodney King trial, the Oscar Grant shooting, and more than 1,000 other civil rights cases.

The John Burris Documentary filmwill be screened at the California Museum on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 5:45 PM. Doors will open at 5:00PM and there will be a discussion immediately following the film. Seating is limited. Please share this event with your coworkers and RSVP today!
